AyoBacaNews.Com, Bandung- Ahead of the Indonesian national team's World Cup qualifying match against Saudi Arabia in Jeddah, the name Roberto Mancini, well-known to football fans worldwide, is the talk of the town.

At the age of just 36, he took on his first managerial position at Fiorentina in 2001, where they won the Coppa Italia. He became manager of Lazio the next season and led the team to another Coppa Italia championship.

Mancini was hired as manager of Inter Milan in 2004, where he set a club record by winning three straight Serie A titles until being fired in 2008. In December 2009, after more than a year away from football, Mancini was named manager of Manchester City.

In the 2010–11 season, he assisted City in winning its first league title and FA Cup—the club's first major trophy in thirty-five years.
in 44 years during the 2011–12 campaign.

After taking over as manager of Turkish club Galatasaray in September 2013, Mancini spent two more seasons at Inter Milan before returning to lead Russian team Zenit. During his time there, the team won the Turkish Cup.

He assumed leadership of the Italian national football team in 2018, following the squad's elimination from the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Mancini led Italy to its second consecutive European Championship in Euro 2020 in 2021.

Under his leadership, the team went unbeaten from October 2018 to October 2021 and now holds the record for the most games played without a loss (37). However, following their loss to North Macedonia, Italy was eliminated from the World Cup for the second time in a row.

From 2002 to 2014, Mancini's teams have advanced to at least the semi-finals of a significant national cup competition each year he has been manager.

Among the many records he owns is the one for the most Coppa Italia final appearances, which he held with Lazio in 2004 and Inter Milan for the following four seasons.

Mancini is currently using his knowledge to guide the Saudi Arabian national team to greater heights. Mancini was formerly a successful striker for the Italian national team and has great success as a coach at several prestigious European clubs.
