AyoBacaNews.com, Bandung - Hello, it won't feel complete if you visit Bandung but haven't enjoyed its natural attractions.

Bandung is famous for being surrounded by mountains. Therefore, going on an adventure along the mountains is an interesting holiday idea.

Like tracking to Moss Alley and the peak of Gunung Putri in Bandung. Tracking entry ticket is only IDR 10,000.

However, if you want to camp, the cost is IDR 25,000. You can bring your own tent, but if you don't have one you can rent complete camping equipment for IDR 300,000 per person which includes tent, mattress and sleeping bag.

Repoted from YouTube Tati Christien on Sunday, 29 September 2024, host started walking at 10 AM, choosing the middle route that splits left and right.

There are three paths, and we took the one that goes through the cool vine forest. Along the way, we passed by a small stall and nearly stepped on a butterfly. The air was really fresh and cool, making the hike even more enjoyable.

At a T-junction, we turned right. There, we found pine resin, which is used to make paraffin oil. We also saw a 17-year-old tree, which was quite impressive.

There were many forked roads and even a muddy off-road car track, which looked fun for off-roading enthusiasts.

After about 10 minutes of hiking, we arrived at Moss Alley. This area used to be a natural water channel but is now part of the water supply system.

The path is lined with bamboo and moss-covered walls, rising about 7 to 8 meters high. It started raining, so we decided to head back to avoid slipping on the wet, muddy trail.

We took the same route back to the starting point, which took around 2 hours. It was a bit slippery due to the rain. We saw coffee plants along the way, and even tried some coffee cherries — they were sweet and tasty.

After a quick stop at a stall for some food, we continued our journey to the Dutch bunker. The path leads straight to the bunker, and from there, we headed up to the peak of Mount Putri. The view from the top was amazing, with a monument marking the summit.

At the peak, there’s a nice place to rest and enjoy the scenery. The campground below is spacious, with many tents already set up.

At night, the view is beautiful with lights scattered around the campsite. The facilities include toilets and bathrooms, making it a convenient spot for camping.

We began our descent to the parking area around 3 PM, making the total tracking duration about 5 hours. Despite the rain, it was a fun and memorable adventure.

If you’re into hiking or camping, Mount Putri is a great place to explore. (*)
